The publication of RAS newsletter started in 1994. From 1994 through 1996, two RAS Newsletters were published every year under the direction of David Hunt, the newsletter editor. However, publication of newsletter became irregular and completely stopped after 1997. Starting Fall 2004, Innovative Scheduling is taking a lead role in publishing the newsletter and it is now regularly published once a year ub Fall before the INFORMS National Meeting.
